St. Edward’s School Celebrates Extraordinary Lives at Annual Function 2026

St. Edward’s School celebrated its Senior School Annual Function under the evocative theme ‘Beyond the Dreams’, honouring the spirit of aspiration, courage and excellence. The occasion was graced by Prof. Mahavir Singh, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, a distinguished physicist recognised among the world’s top 2% of scientists.

The event commenced with the unfurling of the School Flag, followed by the School Anthem, setting a solemn and celebratory tone for the occasion.

Through compelling presentations, students brought to life the extraordinary journeys of Swami Vivekananda, Ratan Tata, Murlikant Petkar, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Milkha Singh, Udham Singh, Captain Vikram Batra and the nation’s firefighters. Each portrayal celebrated the power of conviction, resilience, selfless service and the courage to transcend limitations. The grand finale brought the evening to a stirring close, reinforcing the message that true greatness lies in daring to dream and having the determination to turn those dreams into reality.

The Address by the school Principal, Rev. Fr. Henry Raj, reflected on the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible, confident and compassionate individuals. The Award Ceremony recognised students for their achievements and exemplary contributions. In his address, the Chief Guest inspired the gathering to pursue knowledge, embrace challenges and strive for excellence.

The evening was a powerful tribute to the individuals who dared to look beyond the possible, reminding every Edwardian that dreams acquire meaning when ambition is matched by courage, character and action.
